Face2Face
Go behind-the-scenes with a Face2Face encounter. Meet our southern white rhinoceros, ring-tailed and ruffed lemurs, siamang or cheetah. Only $20 per person with 10% going to the Hamilton Zoo Conservation Fund. (Normal zoo admission fees apply).
Booked encounters
The perfect group experience for families, friends, workmates or students. Minimum fee is $100 (for group of five or less) with 10% going to the Hamilton Zoo Conservation Fund. (Normal zoo admission fees apply). Booked encounters are available for our southern white rhinoceros, ring-tailed and ruffed lemurs, siamang or cheetah. Special seasonal booked encounters are also available, check our website or with the reception team for details.
Keeper Talks
Come along to our FREE 'Meet the Keeper' talks and learn about animal behaviours, personalities and conservation issues as you watch their feeding or enrichment! 'Meet the Keeper' talks are held 7 days a week to help you make the most of your zoo experience.
Premium Tour
An in-depth, one and a half hour behind the scenes tour with a senior Zoo Keeper as your personal guide. Let us know your interests and we'll arrange a tour to suit you and that takes in all of the highlights of the zoo at that time. This is a deluxe experience, available on request only and with at least 48 hours notice required. Flat fee of $500 for a maximum of six people.
